After launching the Canvas HD 116 with quad core processor to target smooth performance expecting user, Ninja A72 for Users who want a big screen to watch movies and videos, Canvas 3D for the people who want to get the 3D experience on the device, and Micromax Canvas A88 for the music lover this time it is a low budget device. But still we have seen the innovation introduced in this device. The new feature introduced with this device is named as Swipe and it is something unique as it provide a ease to the user by allowing them to share the desired file by a single and simple swipe. Whenever you want to share any file over internet or with any other device then you jut need to swipe that particular file on the phone and it will be shared by the common connectivity feature available.

The phone could have been launched competing against the recently launched Nokia’s 501 as we can see that hardware details of the device seems somewhere similar to Nokia Asha 501, with the screen size of 3.5 inches and the resolution of display as 320 x 480 pixels but the internal space available on the device is very low with 160 MB. But as Nokia is coming with the price tag of around Rs.2000 more than the Ninja A27 it will be unfair to compare this two device. I feel the device could provide a very good competition to its local rival, Karbonn A1+ which has almost same price range. Camera: Since this are the low budget device we cannot expect a good camera but still the Karbon A+ will be featuring the 3MP camera supporting 2048 x 1536 pixels where as the Micromax Ninja A27 got a very simple VGA 0.3 MP camera with the resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The micromax also didn’t got the secondary camera for video chat where as the Karbon A+ has a VGA secondary camera with which atleast you can make a video call. So here clearly the micromax looses a point. Processor and Battery: Both the device will be operating the same OS i.e Android OS, v2.3.5 (Gingerbread). Both the device is powered by 1 GHz processor but we are not sure about cheapset of Karbon A+ but Micromax’s device will be using Spreadtrum SC6820 processor. The RAM in both the device is same which is 256MB and hence we can expect the similar performance as  both the device has similar powered processor and RAM. The battery is also almost same where Micromas A27 got 1400mAh Li-On battery and KarbonA+ got 1500mAh same Li-On battery. Display Type and Size: Dimension wise the Micromax device is big as compared to Karbon A+. The Micromax A27 will be coming with the body dimension of 116.2 x 62 x 13.16 mm where as karbon got 114.5 x 60.6 x 13.8 mm body dimension. The Micromas is light in weight as well compared to Karbon though it is huge in size. Both has 3.5 inches of TFT capacitive touchscreen display and have the resolution of 320 x 480 pixels (165 ppi). So both the device share the point for the display.

Specification and Key feature:

Conclusion:

The technical specification of the device looks good with the price tag of Rs.3,300 INR but from the above comparison karbon A+ could be a tough competitor for this device. The device could have been provided with better camera as well like the company provided a good display and processor. But still if you don’t want to go for Karbon device and want to go for Micromax A27 you can purchase the device from the store or can also order the device online at Ebay and other online channel.
