To begin with, there is a 13 MP front camera, with LARGAN lens, Sony sensor and Soft flash. Selfie Sofware tools include enhancement effects like skin whitening, remove oil, face slimming, fade dark circles and teeth whitening, and some Makeup effects like Blush, Mascara, Eyeliner, Eye Shadow, Lipstick, etc to glam you up. If it works as advertised, we can imaging it being well received by feminine audience.

If you think a larger sensor on the front would look odd, Micromax has implanted an even bigger camera module on the rear surface to offset the weirdness. The rear 13 MP rear camera, also with Sony sensor and LARGAN lens can record 1080p full HD videos in MP4 and 3GP.

The display is 4.7 Inches in size with reasonable 720p HD resolution protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and powered by 1.7 GHz MediaTek Octa Core MT6592 SoC, with ample 2 GB RAM and 16 GB expandable internal storage, out of which 12.4 GB will be available at user end. Other features include a 2300 mAh battery (8.5 Hrs Talk time, 198 Hrs Standby), 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. The handset has curved bottom and top edges, reminiscent of Oppo skyline notification in Find 7, which plays its part in accommodating large 13 MP sensor on the front side, without looking super weird.

Micromax seldom crosses 15K mark, and if software features work as advertised, it has a good contender in what can now be deemed as upper mid range market. Check out the Tv commercial below.
