On the hardwre front, the rear camrea module houses a 16 MP BSI 2 OmniVision sensor with largan M8 lens on top. The pixel size is 1.34 micron, which is on the higher side and will support good high end photography. The front 8 MP shooter is fixed focus one and can be used for high quality video chat. The low light photographs from were very good. we didn’t see much noise in low light images. the images in artificial light were brighter and impressive as well. overall, the camera performance is definitely an improvement over what we have seen in other Mediatek chipset devices.
