Micromax will soon launch Canvas Fire A093 for Rs. 6,299 according to trusted source Manish Khatri from @Maheshtelecom. Russian websitehi-tech.mail.ru claims that Canvas Fire will have dual frontal speakers and a 4 inch display.
The 4 inch IPS LCD display features 800 x 480 pixels which amount to usable 233 pixels per inches. The phone will be launched in Moto E and Zenfone territory and the images suggest that Micromax has given due consideration to the Aesthetics.
Canvas Fire will drive all its fire from 1.3 GHz Quad core MT6582 chipset paired with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage. With Zenfone offering 8 GB internal storage and several 1 GB RAM options available out there, the chipset doesn’t look very enticing. User available memory is around 2 GB and you will get option for 32 GB of MicroSD card storage. Imaging hardware remains the same with 5 MP rear shooter with LED flash and a VGA front cam for selfies and video calling.
Battery capacity is 1750 INR and other features include Dual SIM connectivity, latest Android 4.4 KitKat, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. The Russian website also mentions that Micromax will soon launch Canvas Fire A104, with a larger 4.5 inch display and 1900 mAh battery. It also reports that Micromax A190 which was leaked earlier will be named Canvas HD Plus. Micromax is already selling several 4 inch-WVGA-Quad core-Android KitKat phones like Micromax Canvas Engage A091 and Unite A092 in the same price range with similar hardware. The main conspicuous difference is that this one has MT6582 chipset with slight bump in battery capacity. Canvas Fire A093 is the latest addition to Micromax A09X budget quad core series, and will face more severe competition from new arrivals like Asus Zenfone 4.
