Update: 9-05-2014 Micromax Canvas Elanza 2 has now been listed on Official Website. The Missing specifications which include 1 GB RAM and 4G Internal storage have also been confirmed. The processor used is Snapdragon 200 MSM8212 Quad Core. Micromax will soon launch the successor of Canvas Elanza A93 dubbed as Micromax Canvas Elanza 2 A121, reports Micromaxcanvas. The original Elanaza A93 was a dual core smartphone launched about 3 months back and the new Elanza certainly brings much more to the table.
The Micromax Canvas Elanza sports a 5 inch Display with pretty decent 720p HD resolution amounting to 294 pixels per inches. The software has also been upgraded to Android 4.3 Jelly bean, which is also a first from Micromax.
Under the hood, you will find a 1.2 GHz quad core from yet unknown manufacturer. The RAM capacity and internal storage has also not known yet. We are expecting around 1 GB RAM similar to Canvas Elanza A93. Internal storage is expected to be 4 GB. The storage is expandable up to 32 GB via MicroSD support
The primary camera at the back has an 8 MP sensor and at the front you will get a 2 MP unit which can be used for basic video calling. The battery capacity in this dual SIM device is 2000 mAh which is expected to last one day with moderate usage. The Dual SIM Elanza 2 is expected to come feature standard set of connectivity options including 3G, WiFi, GPS, etc. All the specifications have been derived from the retail box of the Canvas Elanza 2, that folks at MicromaxCanvas.co.in managed to acquire, and hence are like to be true. Elanza 2 comes with better resolution display, more updated software and better imaging hardware and all this for a sub 10K INR price. Looks like Domestic manufacturers are arming up against the upcoming competition from tier one manufacturers in their turf.
