Micromax Unite Anthem A290 features 1.4 GHz octa core MT6592M chipset with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. Display will be 4.7 inches in size, perhaps with HD resolution.
The operating system is Android 4.4 Kitkat in line with all recently launched Micromax devices. Imaging hardware includes 8 MP sensor at the rear and a 5 MP front shooter for basic video calling. All hardware will be powered by 2010 mAh battery.
Micromax will also introduce a promotional anthem Rubaroo for the handset on 15th August and the company has already imported around 17,000 units of the device in India. The unit price is around 7,000 INR which hints to around 10K price.
Micromax has now become India’s largest phone retailer with impressive smartphone sales and with Micromax Unite Anthem; the desi behemoth will step up its gain to regain the share lost to players like Xiaomi, Zenfone and Motorla.
