Because of the secondary 2.1-inch display the LG Q8 is being labelled as a mini version of the LG V20. It packs a smaller 5.2-inch display, dual 16MP + 8MP rear cameras, Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM and 32GB storage.

A secondary display, dual cameras, water resistance and optimal Audio output are some of the features in the LG Q8. The LG Q8 features a primary 5.2-inch IPS Quantum Display with Quad-HD resolution. A secondary Always-On 2.1-inch display runs as a strip on top of the main display. This helps in a smoother usage of the phone along with checking notifications. The Korean variant of the LG Q8 comes with a 16MP + 8MP dual camera setup at the back with the 8MP lens being the wide-angle one. On the front, you get a 5MP camera with 120-degree wide-angle view. In terms of hardware, the LG Q8 is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 820 processor. This processor is accompanied by 4GB RAM, 32GB ROM, and up to 2TB expandable storage via microSD card. Apart from this, the Q8 also packs a 32-Bit Digital to Analogue Converter (DAC) for superior audio output. Coming to performance, the LG V20 currently ruins Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and may also see an update to Android 8.0 Oreo. it runs LG UX on top. The secondary display gives ease of usage. Pricing and Availability
Since the phone is introduced is launched for Korea for now, the Korean variant is priced at KRW 616,000 which is roughly Rs. 34,800. The phone is yet to make its way to India, but there are reports that suggest that LG will launch the Q8 in the country in the coming weeks.
