Google’s event in San Francisco is barely a week away where the new Nexus series of smartphones are expected to be launched. But like it usually happen all the time press renders about new Nexus smartphones Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P have leaked out. Some days back the images of retail boxes of both the upcoming smartphones were leaked. This time the purported images of the smartphones are leaked just ahead of the expected launch event on Tuesday. The leaked images reveal a lot about the specifications and the design of the new Nexus smartphones that will soon be joining the Nexus family. Now, as far as leaked renders are concerned, LG branding is clearly visible on the back of Nexus 5X which is similar to the original Nexus 5. The front of the smartphone carries the usual Nexus design without any hardware button. Two grilles are also visible for the speakers on the front part. As it is clear from the images the camera unit is slightly protruding and might be accompanied by a dual LED or dual tone flash. There is a fingerprint reader on the back panel just below the camera encompassing a circular design. The leaked images also sort of confirm that all new Nexus 5X will be available in Ice Blue, Charcoal Black and Quartz White colors which will be a retreat to the loyal Nexus fans.
Coming to Huawei Nexus 6P as the name confirms that this handset is manufactured by Chinese tech giant Huawei. This is a first in smartphone history where a Nexus device is being manufactured by a Chinese brand putting a stop to the rumor mills after a long time.Nexus 6P might be sporting a 5.7 inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) display keeping up the trend of Quad HD displays. As it appears, from the leaked images that there is a bump on the back panel that is uniformly running throughout the width. The rear camera unit is placed on the top left corner on this bump unlike the Nexus 5X where the camera is placed at top center of back panel. Nexus 6P sports dual LED flash on the same raised glass bump. Nexus 6P sports the same dual front speaker grilles design identical to Nexus 5X, above and below the display. The fingerprint scanner placement is same as that of the Nexus 5X. Nexus 6P will be available in four color options namely Aluminum, Black, Gold and white.
