The display on LG Max has paltry 854 X 480 Pixel resolution and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad core processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, expandable using MicroSD card slot. But, there is good news on software front. The new LG Max is running the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop software. The 8 MP rear camera includes an LED flash and while shooting selfies, the front 5 MP snapper is assisted by a brightly light screen to offset low ambient lighting.

Other features include 3g, Dual SIM support, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 2540 mAh battery. There is no 4G LTE and Amit gujral, Marketing head, LG Mobiles India, explains its absence as follows: “Most of the people who use internet on smartphones use 3G services as 4G is still at a nascent stage in our country. Keeping this in mind, LG has launched LG Max as we are sure that this smartphone will offer unprecedented value to 3G consumers. This smartphone offers great balance of form, function and price and we expect it to be even more successful than its predecessor.” LG Max will be available in White, Titan and Gold at Rs. 10,990 in India.
