Launch and Price

Lenovo will be officially launching the Lenovo Phab2 Plus tomorrow in India. It was initially announced with a price tag of 299$ which roughly translates to 20000/- . So will you be buying it at 20k? I know most of you are thinking that it will be a suicidal move by Lenovo to launch Phab2 Plus at 20k, the price of Mi Max prime. Fortunately, Lenovo might have felt the same and decided to the launch the phone with a price tag of 14,999/-. Now, it will go head-to-head with Mi Max; credit should be given to Lenovo for a strategic move. It is also worth noting that when a phone launches in India, prices are generally inflated. But Lenovo is doing a great job by launching phones with prices on par with international prices or even cheaper at times like Phab2 Plus and Zuk Z1.
