Looking at the specifications, the Le 2 and Le 2 Pro were launched with a MediaTek chipset and the Le Max 2 was having a Qualcomm chipset. Le 2 has a Mediatek Helio X20 processor and the Le 2 Pro comes with the improved MediaTek Helio X25. But as the rumors suggest, a new model of Le 2 has been spotted online, but it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 652 processor. This is not the first time anyone has spotted this device, as the Le 2 codenamed X526 was seen once more on Antutu a couple of months ago. If we believe in what experts are saying, the new version of the LeEco Le 2 may be surfacing Indian markets with the Snapdragon 652 processor.
Apart from change in processor, rest of the specifications remains the same. It boasts of a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080p) display panel. With the Snapdragon 652 Octa-core processor, it offers 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of inbuilt storage. On the camera front, it has a 16 MP rear with f/2.0 aperture and PDAF. Front has a 8 MP sensor for selfies and video calling. It comes with a 3000mAh battery which is expected to support Qualcomm’s Quick Charge. All of its phones, this one also will be having with fingerprint sensor. It comes packed in an all-metal body and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out-of the-box with the EUI 5.5 on top. The major highlight of this phone is its USB Type-C charging port that is doubled as a earphones connector with the new CDLA (Continual Digital Lossless Audio) technology. With this, it becomes one of the first phone to ditch the traditional 3.5 mm jack for audio playback.
