Some retailers are accepting pre-booking for the Reliance JioPhone. You can walk into your nearest authorized Jio Phone retailer and pre-book the feature phone. Jio Phone is rolling out for Beta testers from August 16 onwards.
How to Pre-Book Jio Phone?
According to reports, certain offline retailers in Delhi and NCR are already taking pre-bookings for the Reliance JioPhone. You can walk into any of these Reliance Jio authorized retailers and pre-book your Jio Phone. You need to submit a copy of your Aadhar card to the Jio authorized retailer. The retailer will then upload your Aadhar number to a centralized software which will assign you a token number. You need to carry this token number with you at the time of collecting your JioPhone. Also, you do not need to pay any amount in advance. The fully refundable amount of Rs. 1,500 is to be paid at the time of collecting your handset. According to reports, those who book right now can get their Jio Phone by September 4.

In case the retailer near you is not accepting pre-orders, don’t worry. You can still get your hands on the Reliance Jiophone easily. Simply go to this link and get a notification when JioPhone bookings open.
Also, you can book your JioPhone offline when the bookings open on August 24. The delivery date of the Jio feature phone is not confirmed yet, but you can book your handset online as well as offline.
Pricing and Availability
The Reliance Jio Phone is priced at a fully refundable amount of Rs. 1,500. This means that you need to deposit Rs. 1,500 as security at the time of buying your Jio Phone. This amount will be refunded after 36 months, upon returning the handset.
