The leaked Gold Master (GM version) includes a look at the key features in iOS 11 and the Apple iPhone 8. It has pointed out more about the working of FaceID, new emoticons, new wallpapers, and even a change in AirPods.

While FaceID is going to add 3D facial recognition on your iPhone, a GIF showing its working has been leaked online. It shows how to set up FaceID on iOS 11.

This cut out is the same as early leaks suggested on the iPhone 8 where the display stretches from top to bottom and a cut out is carved for the front camera and sensors array.

While Apple does so rarely, they have probably done this to mark the tenth-anniversary of the iPhone. 3D emoticons, named as ‘Animojis’ will also be there in iMessage and you can teach them with a facial movement and a recorded message before sending them. Introduction of TrueTone display is also expected on the iPhone 8. It will adjust the display to suit ambient brightness. Not only display but various camera setting for portrait mode are also anticipated on the iPhone 8.
