Camera and Internal Storage
The Intex Aqua Style PRO comes with an 8 MP camera at its back that is coupled with dual LED flash for enhanced low light performance and a 2 MP front-facing selfie camera. This camera module is definitely a decent performer and it is great considering the price range of the device. These days, manufacturers are coming up with dual LED flash in order to provide superior performance at varying lighting conditions. The internal storage capacity of the smartphone is 8 GB and this is a rare aspect that is being incorporated by the vendors. Soon we can see many smartphones in the entry-level segment with 8 GB of storage capacity. Moreover, the handset includes a micro SD card slot that facilitates in expanding the storage space by another 32 GB.
Processor and Battery
Under its hood, the Intex Aqua Style PRO houses a 1.2 GHz quad-core Broadcom BCM23550M processor that comes with HSPA+ and VideoCore IV graphics unit. Also, it is claimed that this processor is power efficient and cost effective. Also, there is 1 GB of RAM that aides this processor as it can render efficient multi-tasking and smooth app handling. The battery unit operating under the device is a 1,800 mAh one which will last roughly for moderate hours as the handset comes with modest spec sheet with a power efficient processor. Of course, there are smartphones with 2,000 mAh battery in this price bracket, thereby making the Intex handset lag behind in terms of battery backup.
Display and Features
The display unit of the Intex Aqua Style PRO is a 4.5 inch IPS panel with a resolution of 854×480 pixels. This is not a great display as it comes with average resolution making it yet another standard entry-level offering in terms of display quality. It would have been great for Intex to use a large display and a better resolution, but for a smartphone in the sub Rs 7,000 price bracket, this is acceptable. The Intex Aqua Style PRO runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and this makes it on par with its rivals. It features connectivity aspects such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS along with dual SIM functionality. Also, the vendor provides a free flip cover along with the Aqua Style PRO.
Comparison
In terms of comparison, the Intex Aqua Style PRO will be a competitor to smartphones such as Celkon Millennium Vogue Q455, Lava Magnum X604 and Micromax Canvas Beat A114R.

Price and Conclusion
The smartphone is priced at Rs 6,990 and comes with a decent set of specifications for its price range. It comes with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of native storage space that makes it stand out against the competition. However, the battery and display are the main factors that let down the device a bit. On the whole, it has nothing exceptional as compared to its rivals that can make it a game changer.
