Camera and Internal Storage
The camera features sound decent with an 8 MP rear camera (With LED flash) and a 2 MP front shooter. Intex hasn’t mentioned further details about the imaging hardware, but if its using the same 8 MP module as in Aqua Curve, you can expect 720p HD recording. The internal storage is 4 GB, similar to what most other phones will offer in this price range. The read-write operation to Nand Flash storage gets slower when its filled and thus we like to see at least 8 GB storage for good user experience.
Processor and Battery
The processor used is MT6582 Quad Core clocked at 1.3 GHz and aided by 1 GB RAM and Mali 400 MP2 GPU. The chipset has proven itself to be a powerful one time over and has scored better than Broadcom BCM23550 so far. The battery capacity of 1500 mAh is less than all the major rivals like include Moto E, Micromax Unite 2, Xolo Q600s and Lava Iris X1. This definitely makes Intex Aqua Curve Mini take a backseat. With MT6582 chipset and WVGA screen the phone is expected to struggle to last one day with moderate usage.
Display and Other Features
The LCD Display is 4.5 inches in size and features FWVGA 854 X 480 pixels which renders it usable. Pixel density is 217 ppi, which is above average. Among the present wave of budget Quad Core KitKat phones, Moto E is still in the lead in the display department with 256 ppi qHD resolution IPS LCD display panel. Intex Aqua Curve Mini runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat which is more responsive and resource efficient than previous versions. It also sports dual SIM connectivity along with 3G, WiFi, GPS, AGPS, Bluetooth and FM Radio.
Comparison
The phone will compete against already existing array of star budget phones including Xolo Q600s, Lava Iris X1, Moto E, Xolo Q1011 and Micromax Unite 2

Conclusion
The Intex Aqua Curve Mini offers almost the same set of specifications as its competitors and packs a lower rated battery. Intex Aqua i7 has arrived late and it fails to differentiate itself from the crowd, which might work against it. The Phone will suffice for basic usage and won’t cost you much at 7,290 INR.
