The camera unit at the back of the Intex smartphone is a 13 MP BSI sensor that is aided by LED flash for an enhanced low light photography. At the front is a 5 MP front facing camera that will assist in capturing gorgeous self portrait shots and in video conferencing. These imaging aspects make the smartphone compete with the other imaging focused mid-rangers in the market and we do not have any issues in this regard. The internal storage of the device is the usual 8 GB which can be increased further with the help of a micro SD card by another 32 GB. This internal storage capacity is pretty standard among those smartphones in this price bracket and there is nothing exceptional about the Intex offering.
Processor and Battery
The Intex Aqua Amaze employs a 1.4 GHz octa core MediaTek MT6592M processor at its core that makes it similar to the other octa core smartphones in the entry-level and mid-range market. This processor is teamed up with 1 GB of RAM to render a decent performance. A 2,000 mAh battery powers the Aqua Amaze that appears to be deliver up to 7 to 8 hours of talk time and 240 hours of talk time respectively.
Display and Features
The display unit of the smartphone is a 5 inch IPS OGS one which has a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. Obviously, the IPS panel would render acceptable viewing angles, whereas the OGS panel will make the screen thinner and more responsive. Also, the fully laminated display makes the screen less reflective and usable even under bright light conditions. The smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and packs usual connectivity aspects such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and dual SIM functionality. Furthermore, the Aqua Amaze is pre-loaded with Opera mini, Zapak, OLX, WeChat, Saavn, Newshunt, Flipkart, Clean Master, Getit and other applications.

The Intex Aqua Amaze priced at Rs 10,690 making it a reasonably priced and value for money offering. For its pricing, the smartphone comes with pretty impressive specifications making it competitive with the other devices in the price bracket. We can expect the smartphone to create a swirl in the market making the consumers spoilt for choice.
