The Aqua 5X boasts of a 4 inch display with a WVGA resolution of 480×800 pixels and is equipped with a 1 GHz dual core MediaTek MT6572 processor that is backed by paltry 256 MB of RAM that sounds too low. There is meager 14 MB of default memory capacity that can be expanded up to 32 GB using a micro SD card.

For imaging, the Intex Aqua 5X like any other entry level device comes with a 2 MP main camera at its back with LED flash and a VGA front facing selfie snapper. Other goodies of the smartphone are 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a 1,300 mAh battery rated to pump in up to 3 to 4 hours of talk time and up to 180 hours of standby time respectively. It appears the handset seems to have been aimed at the first time smartphone upgraders who are not much concerned about the features or specifications. The dual SIM device supports 3G that is a welcome feature, but the lack of advanced processor and RAM is a downside though it should be acceptable considering the Aqua 5X’s pricing.
