The 4 lenses bundled inside include zoom lens with 8x zooming power, fish eye lens with 175-180 degree viewing angle, macro lens with 10x magnification and 10-15mm minimum object distance, and a 130 degree wide angle lens.

Other specs however are mediocre at best. The handset includes a 5 Inch display with qHD resolution and is powered by 1.4 GHz octa core MT6592M with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB expandable internal storage.

There is an 8 MP rear camera, with LED flash, a 3.2 MP front shooter for basic selfies, HotKnot File transfer, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, AGPS and 2000 mAh battery. The specs don’t compliment the enthusiasm aroused by those extra lenses bundled in the box, but won’t stand in the way of Photography enthusiasts either, towards whom the smartphone is primarily targeted. “We are very excited with our newest launch which revolutionizes and redefines smartphones. With mSLR Cobalt4 the users shall be mesmerized on the Smartphone’s Camera with detachable lenses. The Multiple options of the lens shall snap great pictures and change the way photographs are captured on the smart phones! Its again heartening that we are the first in India to launch a product with this technology,” said Sandeep Parasrampuria, Director iBall during the smartphone launch.
