HTC, however, didn’t reveal the device name which it would launch on May 23. The company has tweeted, “A phone that is more than the sum of its specs” along with an image that shows the internals of the phone. The image clearly shows four cameras, hybrid dual SIM slot and much more.

HTC U12 Plus rumored specifications

The HC U12 Plus has been leaked previously and its expected specs are known. It might sport a 5.5-inch QHD+ (2880 x 1440 pixels) Super LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Interestingly, it will also sport a full view display with 18:9 ratio. The phone will also be water and dust resistant (IP68).

The phone is expected to be powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630 GPU. It will pack 6GB or 8GB RAM with 64GB or 128GB UFS 2.1 storage which will be expandable up to 2TB with microSD. The phone will run on Android 8.0 Oreo with HTC Sense UI. For optics, it will sport dual camera at both front and back. At the rear, there will be a 12MP HTC UltraPixel 4 primary camera with f/1.5 aperture, dual LED flash, OIS, and a secondary 16MP rear camera. Up front, it will pack an 8MP + 8MP dual cameras combination with Real-time bokeh effects and OIS. The hybrid dual SIM phone will have connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C. It will sport HTC USonic with Active Noise Cancellation, and HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi edition for an enhanced audio experience. It will be powered by a 3,420mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge fast charging and wireless charging support.
