From past few days, HTC has been releasing the teaser videos and specifications of the phone and now the smartphone has been again spotted on the GeekBench.
HTC U11 Specifications
Along with the smartphone image, the specifications of the smartphone has been also revealed. The smartphone packs a 5.5-inch Quad-HD display and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC chipset clocked at 1.9GHz, which is coupled to either a 4GB or 6GB RAM. The phone will run on Android Nougat 7.1.1. There will be two options for internal storage – 64GB and 128GB. The camera front will include 12MP camera and a 3,000mAh battery pack. The HTC U11 will be also featuring Bluetooth 5.0, which is similar to Galaxy S8 and S8+ and according to previous rumours, the smartphone will feature a 3.5mm audio jack and will be water resistant. Also, it is speculated that the smartphone will be featuring company’s virtual assistant which is tagged as Sense Companion. The particular feature was also seen on HTC U Ultra.

Along with spec details the smartphone’s single-core and multi-core test has been also revealed. According to report, the smartphone has managed to score 1912 during the single-core test while the HTC U11 has scored 6137 in the multi-core test. These scores are quite similar to the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. Samsung Galaxy S8 scored 1929 in single-core test while for multi-core test, it received 6084. The performance of HTC U11 will be on par with the Samsung flagships and will give them a tough competition. In the previous teaser of the phone, Edge sense was featured on the board. The teaser also revealed people squeezing different objects that reminds of the Twitter post by HTC which states, “Squeeze for the Brilliant U”. The overall teaser highlighted the unique gesture system that the device is going to feature. The teaser also highlighted the shiny blue color and the company is also planning to introduce a host of color options. The key highlight of the upcoming HTC U11 will be its touch sensitive outer frame. With this feature, a user will be able to open an app, launch the camera, or perform a list of functions just by hand movements. The smartphone is likely to adapt gestures and turn them into actions.
