The HTC U Ultra features two displays. The primary display is a 5.7 inch Quad HD panel, with a pixel density of ~515 PPI. HTC is sticking with the Super LCD5 display technology in the new devices as well. On top on the primary display, there is a secondary 2 inch display with a resolution of 160 x 1040 pixels. Coming to the software, the U Ultra comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Additionally, HTC has also come up with a new version of its custom skin. The company is calling it Sense Companion. This new skin comes with an AI, making it a smart skin, so to say. It can learn from your usage and deliver smart suggestions. How it works in real life remains to be seen.
Coming to the processor, the U Ultra comes with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC and Adreno 530 GPU. The phone comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 or 128 GB of internal storage.
