Fueled by Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system, the tablet incorporates a quad-core Allwinner A31 ARM Cortex A7 processor ticking at 1 GHz supplemented with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of default storage that can be expanded externally up to 32 GB. For imaging, the device packs a 2 MP fixed focus rear snapper alongside a VGA front-facing shooter for making basic video calls. There are standard connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, micro USB 2.0 and 3.5mm audio jack, while the rest are not yet known. Pumping enough life to the handset is a 2,300 mAh battery that is claimed by the company to deliver 5.5 hours of talk time to the HP 7 Plus tablet. Besides the internal storage that can be extended, HP provides free 25 GB of Box lifetime cloud storage space and has a slew of pre-loaded apps such as Kingsoft Office, HP ePrint, Skype, HP Connected Photo and HP File Manager.
