Open the WhatsApp app on your device.Tap on the three-dot icon in the top right corner of the screen.Open Settings and tap on Account.
Tap on Privacy and scroll down to locate the Disappearing Messages section.
Under this section, tap on the Default Message Timer.Choose your preferred timer for disappearing messages. WhatsApp offers 3 timer options namely, 24 Hours, 7 Days, and 90 Days.
