OnePlus 5T Specifications

With OnePlus 5T, the company has joined the 18:9 aspect ratio with bezel-less display trend. However, the OnePlus 5T shares the same solid internals as its predecessor OnePlus 5. If we talk about design and display, it is a complete makeover of OnePlus 5.

OnePlus 5T features a 6.01-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. It sports 18:9 aspect ratio and there are minimum bezels on either side of the phone. The display is also protected by a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5. OnePlus 5T comes with Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with Oxygen OS on top, and it is scheduled to get Oreo update by December 2017. It also has some new OxygenOS features as well. The company has introduced a Face unlock feature, which claims to unlock the phone within 0.4 seconds. It is powered by a Snapdragon 835 SoC with an octa-core processor and Adreno 540 GPU. Memory wise, the phone packs 6GB or 8GB RAM, coupled with 64GB or 128GB of 2-Lane UFS 2.1 internal storage. Coming to the camera, the OnePlus 5T features a dual rear camera setup with a Sony IMX 398 sensor on a 16MP camera and a Sony IMX 376K with a 20MP camera. The company has focused on low light imaging, so both the sensors come with f/1.7 aperture. The cameras also feature a dual LED flash, 4K video recording, and slow-motion video recording support. On the front, the phone has a 16MP camera with a Sony IMX 371 sensor and f/2.0 aperture. OnePlus 5T includes a fingerprint sensor which has been moved to the rear.  Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and USB 2.0 Type C port. The phone is powered by a 3,300mAh battery with Dash Charging support.
