As per the blog post of Google, the Product Manager, Prem Ramaswami claimed that Google will start showing more relevant medical facts now. The information will be shown in the Knowledge Graph side panel on the result search results page. From the same, you can drill down to get specific details regarding symptoms, treatments and other information about the condition that you are facing.

The blog post added that the medical information displayed are fact checked data from the doctors at Mayo Clinic, a non-profit medical research group. Google has specified that the medical advice is for the informational purpose only and not for any treatment. It stresses that those accessing these details consult a healthcare professional regarding their concerns. The medical information will be accessible from both the Google desktop website and the mobile application as well. The new data will be rolled out to the users in the coming days. As of now, the feature is available only in the US in English. The same will be rolled out to the other parts of the world with more medication conditions in the future. Notably, in 2014, Google announced Baseline that shows genetic and molecular data to provide a better understanding of a healthy human being. This is aimed to avoid abnormalities at the earlier stages. Also, Google released Google Fit, a fitness tracing application that is compatible to work with Android Wear based smartwatches.
