The Honor 9 Lite was launched in China last month. It comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio display and runs on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. At an affordable price, the Honor 9 Lite features dual cameras at the front as well as the back. Here are the complete specifications of Huawei’s latest offering.

The Honor 9 Lite features a 5.65 inch full HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device comes with a pixel density of ~427 PPI. In terms of hardware, the Honor 9 Lite is backed by Huawei’s in-house HiSilicon Kirin 659 octa-core chipset clocked at 2.36GHz. The processor is complemented by 2 RAM and internal storage variants, i.e. 3GB / 32GB and 4GB / 64GB. The storage on the device can be further expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. Coming to the optics, the Honor 9 Lite comes with 4 cameras bearing same specifications at the front as well as the back. It sports a 13MP primary RGB camera accompanied by a 2MP secondary monochrome camera. The rear cameras get PDAF and LED flash for improved focusing and low-light performance. Talking about the software, Honor is leaving no stone unturned as they offer the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. This phone comes with the latest EMUI 8.0 on top of Android 8.0 Oreo. The Honor 9 Lite is powered by a 3,000mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, microUSB 2.0 and FM Radio. It comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Pricing and Availability The Honor 9 Lite has been priced aggressively starting at Rs. 10,999 and will be available from January 21, exclusively on Flipkart. The 3GB/32GB variant costs Rs. 10,999 while the 4GB/64GB version has been priced at Rs. 14,999. The phone comes in Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue and Glacier Black colour options. Huawei will also be offering up to 10% instant cashback to Citibank credit and debit card users, as part of its launch offers.
