Mute Video Before Sending on WhatsApp

The feature is available in the latest version of the app, so make sure to update your WhatsApp from the respective app store. To be noted, the feature is available for Android users as of now and iOS might also get it very soon. Follow these steps to mute a video before sending:

  1. Open WhatsApp and go to that chat to whom you want to send a video.
  2. Tap on the attachment icon and select the video from the gallery, you want to send.
  3. Now, on the video editing screen, under the video frames, you will see a new speaker icon. Tap on it. That’s it! Your video will now be muted and you can send it right away.
