Android P Features

According to Google, Android P will make your smartphone smarter and the company is putting a special emphasis on simplicity. If we talk about Android P features, it brings Indoor Positioning with Wi-Fi RTT, Display notch support, Enhanced messaging experience, Multi-camera support, Adaptive Battery, New navigation Gestures, AI-powered App Actions, Background restrictions, and more.

For instance, if we take the battery, Google has partnered with DeepMind to build Adaptive Battery feature, which prioritizes battery power only for the apps and gives you the most out of your battery. The look and feel of Android P is more approachable with a new system navigation and there are gestures to enable navigation right from home screen. Apart from these new features, there are hundreds of additional improvements coming in Android P, including security and privacy improvements. If you are already on Android Beta Program on Pixel devices, you will get the Android P Beta OTA update automatically. For other smartphones, you will need to download the update from Android Developers website.
