Google launched the Pixel 3 series phones just last month and they are already available in global markets. However, now it looks like the company is planning to launch a budget Pixel phone in the series. The rumored Pixel 3 Lite is expected to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 670 SoC. Pixel 3 Lite Hands-on Images
Design wise the Pixel 3 Lite looks exactly similar to the regular Pixel 3 and packs a plastic build. It sports 18:9 aspect ratio display. The volume rocker and power button are on the right while SIM card, speaker are on the left. At the top, there is a microphone and 3.5 mm audio jack. There is a back mounted fingerprint sensor.
Pixel 3 Lite Rumored Specs
Coming to the specifications, the Pixel 3 Lite is expected to sport a 5.56-inch FHD+ (2220×1080 pixels) IPS display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 10nm Octa-Core processor with the Adreno 615 GPU. It packs 4GB RAM and 32GB internal memory and supports UFS 2.1 and eMMC 5.1 flash memory.
In terms of camera, there could be a 12MP rear camera with dual LED flash and an 8MP front camera. The selfie camera should be the same from one of the Pixel 3 cameras. It packs a 2915 mAh battery with Quick Charge 4 support. Earlier this year, a report from ET claimed that Google was working on a mid-range Pixel smartphone for the Indian market. So, it is largely expected to be launched in India. The Pixel 3 Lite price is expected to be around $400 considering the budget segment. The company might launch it in the first quarter of 2019.
