Over time this Remote Desktop app picked up and became sort of an alternative for Team Viewer. This new web version of the app is still in a Beta phase – but is expected to be out before the month’s end. The app functions in pretty much the same manner as the older Chrome app used to function.
In order to use the Chrome Remote Desktop web app, you’ll still need to install the host program on your PC and have it run on startup. Pretty much everything else has remained the same. Check it out here: Chrome Remote Desktop
