Design and Display: Slight Change
The Galaxy M31s come with a similar design with almost a similar form factor except for the fingerprint sensor which has been moved to the side. The color option is new, you get the gradient thing going on at the back which is a polycarbonate panel. The display is a 6.5 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED panel which gets Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The Galaxy M31 is just like the stencil for the Galaxy M31s, just that the fingerprint sensor has moved. The rear panel is polycarbonate here too with a glossy finish. The display is 6.5 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED panel which is also protected by the Gorilla Glass 3.
The two major differences between the Galaxy M31 and the M31s is that the rear fingerprint sensor has moved to the side. This makes the smartphone much clear and feels a bit modern as well. The second biggest change is that the Galaxy M31s comes with Infinity O display rather than the Infinity U.

Wrapping up
When comes to Galaxy M31s Vs Galaxy M31 pricing, this is a big difference there. Samsung hasn’t unveiled the price of the smartphone yet. To recall, the Galaxy M31 launched at Rs 14,999 for the base variant but it got a price hike due to higher GST rates in India. Now, M31 comes at Rs. 16,499 for the base variant. On the other hand, Galaxy M31s comes at a starting price of Rs. 19,499, but its base variant comes with 6GB+128GB instead of 6GB+64GB in M31.
