Both Acer Liquid E700 and Liquid Z500, have a 5 inch IPS LCD HD display amounting to 294 pixels per inches. The Z500 also features lists Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. Acer liquid E700 is powered by 1.2 GHz MT6582 Quad core handset, with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB expandable storage. Imaging hardware includes 8 MP rear camera with LED flash capable of full HD video recording and a 2 MP front shooter for video calling and selfies. Other features include 32 GB MicroSD card support, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 3G, aGPS and a massive 3500 mAh battery.
Acer Liquid Z500 is the lower end of the two with 1.3 GHz MT6582, 1 GB RAM and only 4 GB internal storage. The storage can be further expanded by another 32 GB using MicroSD card slot. There is an 8 MP rear shooter capable of full HD video recording, coupled with a 2 MP front camera. Other features include, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 3G, aGPS and a 2000 mAh battery.
Both handsets are expected to be priced around 15,000 INR in India. Acer is also a Google Android One partner and will perhaps launch its Android One phone in India in early 2015.
