The device does not come with microSD card support but that is not a problem as it already has ample storage. Coming to the camera department, the Essential Phone features a dual camera setup. It comes with 13 MP Dual RGB + Mono camera with f/1.9 aperture, Phase detection autofocus and laser autofocus. The camera is capable of recording 4K videos @ 30 FPS. On the front, the device sports an 8 MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture.

As mentioned earlier, a 360 degree camera can also be attached to the device. It can be purchased for an additional $150. The device comes with 4 microphones for noise cancellation and beam forming. The Essential Phone is powered by a 3,040 mAh battery with Quick charge support. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC and USB Type C.

One of the biggest cons of the device is that it does not feature a 3.5mm audio jack and users will have to use the USB port.

The Essential Phone has been priced at $699. The 360-degree camera has been priced at $150. The device is available in Black Moon, Stellar Grey, Pure White and Ocean Depths color options. It is available for pre-order in the U.S.
