The Coolpad Note 3 and the Coolpad Note 3 Lite, both run on Cool UI 6.0 skins customized on top of Android Lollipop 5.1. The camera is also something where the Coolpad Note 3 and Coolpad Note 3 Lite share the same specs. Both feature the same 13 Megapixel primary camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and CMOS sensor and a 5 Megapixel secondary camera. Both the cameras perform decent in terms of colour production, details and clarity. Both have the same camera software and same number of modes to play with, so again there is nothing distinct between both. The Coolpad Note 3 Lite can be expanded up to a 32 GB via microSD card, whereas the Coolpad Note 3 can accommodate a 64 GB microSD card. So, this is where Coolpad takes on its smaller sibling but you must know that the Coolpad Note 3 Lite features a eMMC 5.0 flash drive which is comparatively high quality flash storage and offers a faster data transfer speed. Both the Coolpad phones feature a snappy fingerprint sensor on the rear panel; this is the USP of both the phones. Moreover, these are the most affordable phones to feature a fingerprint sensor.

Design and Build

Talking about the design and built, both follow the same design language but due to the change in the screen size, the Coolpad Note 3 Lite is smaller and fits better in hand. It also has a grainy finish on the back which was not seen in the Coolpad Note 3.
