Coolpad Mega 2.5D Camera Hardware
Coolpad Mega 2.5D is equipped with 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED Flash, SONY sensor, f/2.2 aperture and takes negligible time to focus on the subject. It features Geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, HDR and panorama. It supports 720p (HD) video recording @30fps. The camera also comes with good numbers of real time filters.
On the front it is equipped with a 8MP shooter with f/2.2 aperture. It comes with beautification mode and numbers of filters to enhance the overall output from the camera. It also supports HD video recording for very good selfie videos.

For testing the camera on the Coolpad Mega 2.5D, We took a few pictures of our usual objects, and also some selfies. Let us take a look at the quality of the samples.
Front Camera Samples
We took some selfies in natural and artificial light as well as in low light also. The camera quality was pretty decent for a 8MP camera and the images came out to be detailed and sharp.
Rear Camera Samples

In natural lighting condition, it performed quite good and the images came out be quite sharp and detailed. The images look natural and the color saturation was also good. This device is pretty quick when it comes to focusing on the subject. Overall we were quite pleased by the performance in the natural lighting condition.
Low Light
Being just a 8MP camera, we didn’t expected any exceptional shots, but the output was better than what we expected. The images were good and acceptable considering it is just a 8MP camera though the images had some noise to it. Overall we were quite convinced with the low light performance.
Camera Verdict
Coolpad Mega 2.5D is equipped with a 8MP front and rear camera. The rear camera comes with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, HDR mode and it takes almost negligible time to focus on the object. The rear camera takes good shots in daylight and we can also say that this is one of the good 8MP camera we have seen in this price segment. The front camera also impressed us and performed really well in the given condition. The 2.5D display is another good thing which makes the phone special. So overall this phone is a good choice for the selfie lovers.
