Celkon Millennium Vogue Q455 Unboxing, Full Review, Features, Camera, Benchmarks, Gaming, Price and Overview [Video]

Design, Build and Display

With just 7.9 mm thin profile and rubberized matte finish back, Millennium Vogue scores good on build and design. It feels light and good to hold in hand.

Millennium Vogue however has slightly large bezel, which is something we didn’t like. The hardware buttons are plastic but give good feedback. The capacitive buttons are white but does not have any backlit but these buttons are visible. The display is quite bright at full brightness and color reproduction is good and viewing angles are very good. The 5 point Multitouch IPS LCD OGS display features qHD resolution and supports auto brightness as well. The display is not the best that we have seen in budget price range, but is still above average and better than several devices in this price range.

Processor and RAM

Millennium Vogue drives its power from 1.2 GHz Broadcom BCM 23550 aided with 1 GB of RAM out of which around 500 MB was free on first boot, which is impressive. Overall performance was smooth and lag free. UI was overall responsive when the device was loaded with several apps.

As far as benchmarks go, Antutu score  was 15101 and the device scored 42 fps on Nenamark 2. The phone is meant for casual and medium graphic gaming.

Camera and Internal Storage

The primary camera has an 8 MP sensor and the sad part is that it performed like a fixed focus unit. We did manage to get some detailed day light shots, but overall the camera performance was up to the mark. The front 1.3 MP camera is decent for good quality of video chat.

Internal storage is very impressive in this price range. The phone has 16 GB of native storage with MicroSD card support. 2 GB of storage will be available for Apps and around 11 GB for other data. You can also use MicroSD card slot for secondary storage. Apps can be installed on SD card.

User Interface and Battery

Software is stock android 4.4.2 kitkat with stock messaging app, stock camera app and stock keyboard. There are a few preinstalled applications as well.

Battery capacity is 2000 mAh (removable) and we managed to get around 1 day backup with moderate usage, which involved light gaming, 20 minutes of youtube, around 1 hours of web browsing, around 45 minutes of calls and messaging.

Sound, Video Playback and Connectivity

The handset can play full HD as well as HD videos and the loudspeaker loud but not very loud. The headsets which come bundled in the box have a stylish call button and are good in quality. We did manage to get GPS locking most of the time, but you need to be in outdoors.

Conclusion and Price

Celkon Millennium Vogue Q455 looks like a decent device for the price. We would rate it an good if not the best. The handset is available for purchase for 7,999 INR.
