The Asus Zenfone 3 Max runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with the company’s Zen UI 3.0 skin on top. The device comes in two variants, the first is a 5.2 inch HD display variant. It comes with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The second comes with a 5.5 inch full HD IPS LCD display. It comes with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The 5.2 inch variant of the Asus Zenfone 3 Max is powered by a Quad core Mediatek MT6737M processor clubbed with Mali-T720MP2 GPU. The 5.5 inch of the Zenfone 3 Max is powered by an Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor clubbed with Adreno 505 GPU.  Both the variants come with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The storage on the device can be further expanded using microSD card. Coming to the camera department, the Asus Zenfone 3 features a 13 MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, autofocus and LED flash. The camera can record videos up to 1080p @ 30fps. The camera comes with features such as geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama and HDR. On the front, the device sports a 5 MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. The Asus Zenfone 3 Max is powered by a 4,100 mAh battery. The 5.2 inch variant will provide up to 30 days of 20 hours of 3G talk time and 4G standby time. The 5.5 inch variant will provide up to 17 hours of 3G talk time and up to 38 days of 4G standby time.

Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth v4.1, Micro-USB, and FM radio. It comes with sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.

Pricing and Availability

The 5.2 inch and 5.5 inch variant of the Zenfone 3 Max have been priced at Rs. 12,999 and Rs. 17,999 respectively. They will be available in Glacier Silver, Sand Gold, and Titanium Gray colour variants. The 5.2 inch variant will be available from today and the 5.5 inch variant will be available by the end of this month.
