The 38WHr battery will power the device for up to 6 hours on Android and up to 5 hours on windows 8.1. Tablet ports include Micro SD card, Headphone jack, DC jack and the Dock ports include 1 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0, 10/100Mbit/s LAN, HDMI 1.4, audio combo jack and DC jack. The dual speakers will provide you with ASUS SonicMasmter technology audio which involves custom Asus software and hardware. The tablet part measures 342.7 x 216.3 x 12.9mm; and the dock has dimensions of 340.9 x 217.6 x 16mm. Together, they weigh around 1.9kg. Micromax Lap Tab is another such hybrid which supports both Android and Windows operating system. Asus claims what differentiates it from other such attempts is that the Duet TD300 uses a single SoC to implement both operating system unlike others. The starting price is expected to be around $599 dollar but you can’t expect Intel Core i7 processor and full high end hardware options with this price tag.
