Asus EeeBook X205 follows the reference design model provided by Microsoft and Intel to save some R&D cost. The 11.6 inch display has 1,366 x 768 HD pixel resolution and is powered by 1.33 GHz Intel Atom Z3735 quad core chipset (1.83 GHz in burst mode) with Intel HD Graphics, 2 GB DDR3 RAM and 32 GB storage. Asus has included a keyboard and a large sized touchpad in this light (1 KG) and Compact Notebook. The 38Whrs polymer battery can last for 12 hours of usage according to Asus. The combination of windows 8.1 OS (32 Bit) and Intel chipset will offer full compatibility with desktop software.
This EeeBook offers smartphone like computing experience, which essentially means, you will receive social media and email notifications even when the notebook is in standby mode or when lid is closed. Other features include VGA front camera, Micro HDMI port, 2 MicroUSB ports, MicroSD card support up to 128 GB, Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi.
