To recall, Apple has partnered with Reliance Jio and Airtel to bring it’s Watch Series 3 to the Indian market. The watch comes with both GPS and cellular connectivity options and will be made available via online as well offline stores including Airtel.in, Jio.com, Reliance Digital stores, and Jio stores. The pre-booking pages on both Airtel‘s and Jio’s websites are now live.
How to pre-order Apple Watch Series 3
To register on Airtel, users need to enter in their Airtel mobile numbers in order to pre-book the device. The Airtel users will get an OTP after entering the mobile number, and once they enter the OTP, they will get an SMS and an exclusive invite on May 11. Also, Airtel’s postpaid Infinity plan users will not need any additional recharge for Apple Watch Series 3 cellular version.
On the other hand, Reliance Jio requires your area pin-code to verify delivery parameters for the Apple Watch Series 3 Cellular variant. To recall, Jio customers who pre-book the watch before May 11 will get free first day home delivery. Additionally, the Apple Watch Series 3 GPS + Cellular variants will work without any additional charge for both Jio prepaid and postpaid connections.
Apple Watch Series 3 Cellular Variant Price in India
The pricing of the Apple Watch Series 3 cellular variant has also been revealed now. The 38mm model with Aluminium case and Sports Band is priced at Rs. 39,080 while the 42mm model of the same configuration is priced at Rs. 41,120 in India. The 38mm version of Aluminium case and Nike Sports Band model is priced at Rs. 39,130, while the 42mm of same Nike variant costs Rs. 41,180.
The Apple Watch Series 3 GPS only variant is already available in the country. As per Apple’s official website, the Aluminium case with Sports Band variant of the same is priced at Rs. 32,380, while the Aluminium case with Nike Sports Band model is priced at Rs. 32,470.
