The AOC E40 is given a 4 inch WVGA display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels and it is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor that is teamed up with Mali 400 graphics unit that is backed by 512 MB of RAM. There is a low 4 GB of native memory space in the AOC smartphone and it can be further expanded up to 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card.

The imaging aspects on the AOC E40 include a 2 MP main camera at its back with LED flash for a better low light performance in its class and a VGA front facer as well for video conferencing.
