To refresh on specifications, the Acer One S1001 is bestowed with a 10 inch HD display and it equipped with a 1.3 GHz quad core Intel Atom Z3735F processor teamed up with 1 GB or 2 GB of RAM. For storage, the hybrid device bundles 32 GB of native storage space that can be expanded by another 32 GB using a micro SD card. As mentioned above, there is 500 GB HDD inbuilt in the dock that comes with the device. The Acer One S1001 is based on Windows 8.1 platform and it features a 2 MP main snapper and a VGA front facing shooter onboard.

There are dual speakers on the hybrid device from Acer. It is packed with connectivity aspects such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB and HDMI. The other aspects include dual speakers and a 6,000 mAh battery. The Acer One S1001 is priced at Rs 19,999 for the 1 GB of RAM variant and Rs2 21,999 for the 2 GB RAM variant. Regarding the launch, S Rajendran, Chief Marketing Officer, Acer India said, “The Acer One was very well received by consumers when we made it available last month through an online marketplace to understand the consumer acceptance for a unique 2-in-1 device. Taking a cue from that success, we decided to make it available through traditional retail stores also so that consumers get an opportunity to experience the power of Acer One’s unique offerings. We decided to leverage our strong retail presence in order to reach out to consumers who are present in Tier 2 & 3 cities, smaller towns and rural markets.” The Acer One S1001 includes 1 TB of storage space along with one one-year free subscription to OneDrive. There are several user modes such as pad mode, notebook mode, display mode and tent mode to let you seamlessly touch, typing, viewing, and sharing modes.
