Now, Asus has announced that the next batch of stock comprising of 20,000 Zenfone 5 units will be going on sale on August 18, 2014 via Flipkart. As a part of the 68th Independence Day celebrations, the firm will provide 10% cashback on the handset for customers with select credit/debit cards and it is valid only for purchases made on Monday, August 18. In a statement, the firm has claimed that with the updation of stocks at regular intervals and the competitive pricing of the Zenfone series of smartphones, they can soon witness an even greater success in the country. Also, the firm has stated that it is expected to surpass a sales figure of 1 lakh units as far as Zenfone series of handsets is concerned.
